The Church of St Edmunds, rebuilt in 1666 by the Marquis of Dorchester is alongside Holme Pierrepont Hall, set in thirty acres of private parkland, the house was built in 1500 and is the oldest brick building in the county, still enjoyed by descendents of the Pierrepont family and, incredibly is 3 miles from Trent Bridge and 5 miles from the city centre.
